Main Meeting Room
This is a large sun lit space, with high ceiling, wooden parquet flooring, original 17th century panelling and sash windows. It has seating for up to 70 people. The room measures approximately 20 feet by 17 feet 6 inches. The chairs in the room do not stack.
Previous uses have included wildlife group meetings, choir rehearsals, relaxation groups and exercise groups. There is a good piano in the meeting room.
The hourly rate is £17.00 with a £3 surcharge for cleaning per booking. The rate for a three hour session is £40.00 plus £3 per booking for cleaning.
Smaller Meeting Room
This room can accommodate 20 people and is approximately 20 feet by 12 feet 6 inches. It has 4 wooden chairs that do not stack, the rest are lighter weight stacking chairs.
Previous uses have included committee meetings and counselling sessions.
The hourly rate is £9.00 with a £3 surcharge for cleaning per booking. The rate for a three hour session is £21.00 for a three hour session plus a £3 surcharge for cleaning per booking.
Reading Room
On your right as you come in through the entrance lobby, our reading room is comfortably furnished with two armchairs, carpet, bookcase and table. Additional light-weight chairs are available. The room is small and well lit with two windows.
This is an ideal space for one to one counselling sessions or meetings and the room can accommodate up to 4 people. It is approximately 8 feet by 9 feet.
The hourly rate is £6.00, with a £3 surcharge for cleaning per booking. The rate for a three hours for session is £15 plus a £3 surcharge for cleaning per booking.
Kitchen
All hirers may have access to our well-equipped kitchen to make your own refreshments.
Access
We have step-free access at the main entrance and one of the toilets is fully wheelchair accessible.
The main meeting room and reading room have wheelchair accessible level access. Access to the smaller main meeting room is via an adjacent door with one deep step or via the level access main entrance and a short walk through the main meeting room if vacant.
All the rooms are no-smoking areas and the use of alcohol is not permitted in the building.
